1963-1968 IU-BS and MS in education. 1968- married Grant Carlin and moved to Waconda, Ill. 1968-1970 Taught Kindergarten in Waconda 1970 Peace Corps in Liberia, West Africa 1970-1974 Lived in Waconda, Ill and taught 1st grade in Round Lake 1974-2002 Fairbanks, Alaska. 24 years with Fairbanks School District. K-3. Retired 1998 I have two boys ages 17 and 20. Built own house by hand 1974-2002 Husband Grant is retired teacher and owns mini storage business. I sing in local Sweet Adeline chorus. I enjoy hiking and cross-country skiing and tennis. Moved to Corvallis, Oregon in 2008. Enjoy hiking, camping and traveling. I sing in a local women's chorus and occasionally work in a day care center.
